Frequently asked questions
Answers about the platform, accounts, premium access, the simulator, data handling, and how to report issues. Still stuck? Use the support form.
What is Fusenergy?
Fusenergy is a public learning platform for fusion energy technology. It combines a 720-chapter structured knowledge base, a guided handbook, long-form editorial guides, an interactive 3D reactor model, a live technology news feed, and premium analysis tools for members.
Is Fusenergy free?
Yes. The library, learning path, concepts pages, 3D simulator, news feed, and blog are free and public. A free account adds member features such as commenting. Premium research briefs and the analysis workspace are for logged-in members, with subscriber packs activated after an enquiry.
Who writes the content, and how is it checked?
Fusenergy pages are original educational writing. Technical summaries are checked against public references from recognized fusion organizations, including the IAEA, ITER, and the U.S. DOE Fusion Energy Sciences program. Source links appear on the relevant pages.
Is the 3D simulator physically accurate?
It is a directional teaching model, not a physics code. It shows how fuel choice, temperature, density, and magnetic confinement interact qualitatively. It must not be used for reactor design, safety analysis, or investment decisions.
Where does the live news feed come from?
A server-side agent collects public fusion technology signals every six hours and publishes a privacy-safe JSON feed. Each item links to its original public source, and items are classified as scientific, engineering, commercial, or policy signals.
How do I get premium access?
Create a free account, then send an enquiry describing what you need. Subscriber-only packs are activated manually after enquiry approval. Premium members get research briefs and the scenario-analysis workspace with CSV/JSON export.
I forgot my password. What do I do?
Use the forgot-password page with your registered email. A reset-support message goes to the site owner and a confirmation to you. If you get stuck, use the support form with the account category.
Why can't I copy text from some pages?
Educational pages use a protected reading mode that limits casual copying, right-click, and drag actions. Form fields are unaffected. If you need to reference content for legitimate use, send an enquiry.
What data does Fusenergy collect about visitors?
Visitor counters are computed server-side from bot-filtered logs without advertising trackers. Accounts store a name, email, and password hash. Feedback stores a rating, optional comment, and a random local identifier. Details are on the privacy page.
How do I report a content error?
Use the support form and choose the content-correction category. Corrections are reviewed against the cited public references and fixed on the page when confirmed.
How do I report a security issue?
Use the security-report category on the support form, or the contact listed in /.well-known/security.txt. Please include enough detail to reproduce the issue.
Is any of this investment or engineering advice?
No. Everything on Fusenergy, including premium briefs and analysis outputs, is educational context. It is not investment advice, an engineering specification, or a safety case.
